Stick a tag
Any cheap NTAG213 or NTAG215 sticker. Not a branded kit — the ones already in your drawer work.
On an iPhone with LidTap, this link logs a dose. If you opened it in a browser, install LidTap, then tap the bottle instead.
About LidTapiPhone
A tiny NFC tag on the bottle. One tap with your iPhone. The dose is logged — instantly. No typing. No “did you take it?” prompt.
Download on the App StoreThe features are simple. The feeling is the point: you always know.
Any cheap NTAG213 or NTAG215 sticker. Not a branded kit — the ones already in your drawer work.
Name the supplement, hold the top of your iPhone to the bottle, and LidTap writes the link. About ten seconds.
Every morning, same gesture. The time is recorded — in the app, or from the lock screen. That’s the whole app.
You’ll see what you actually take, not what you meant to.
Hold your iPhone to the bottle and the moment is recorded. Confirmation if LidTap is open; a quiet notification if it isn’t.
Today, this week, and the full chart. A Home Screen widget shows what’s still left to take.
Optional reminders at the hour you choose, per bottle. Quiet when you’re consistent. There when you’re not.
No account. No iCloud copy of your log. Supplements, tags, and history stay on this iPhone.
Tap the bottle, dose logged.
LidTap is iPhone-only. NFC needs a real device — and that’s the point.
Download on the App StoreLidTap is a local app. The names of your supplements, the tags on the bottles, and every dose you log live on your iPhone. There is no LidTap account to create.
Each tag holds a Universal Link — a private address on this site — so iOS can open LidTap from the lock screen. The address is meaningless without the copy of LidTap on your phone. This website does not record doses.
Purchases go through Apple. Optional product analytics, and messages you send from Contact developer, are explained in the privacy policy. How the App may be used is in the terms of use.
Need stickers? NTAG213 tags on Amazon work with any bottle.
The short version of how LidTap actually works.
Any cheap NTAG213 or NTAG215 sticker. Nothing is locked to a branded kit — the ones already in a drawer, or a pack from Amazon, work. Stick one on the bottle, link it once in LidTap, then tap to log.
Yes. Each tag holds a Universal Link, so iOS can open LidTap from the lock screen. If the app is already open, you get a confirmation. If it isn’t, you get a quiet notification.
No. LidTap is iPhone-only. The whole product is the tap on a real device, so there is no iPad, Watch, or Android version.
There is no LidTap account. Supplement names, tags, dose history, reminders, and the widget stay on this iPhone. Nothing is synced to iCloud or Apple Health. If you uninstall, reset, or lose the device, that history may be gone — we cannot restore it. Premium can export a CSV via the iOS share sheet.
Without a subscription you can keep three supplements, two tags per supplement, seven history items, and weekly statistics. LidTap Premium is a yearly subscription through Apple: unlimited supplements, tags, and history, monthly and yearly stats, and CSV export. Manage or cancel it in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
No. It is a convenience logger, not a medical device, and not advice. A tap records a timestamp next to a name you typed. It does not mean the right bottle was tapped, or that anything was swallowed. Don’t rely on it for medication or an emergency.
No. Opening a bottle link in a browser does not record a dose. The address on the tag only helps iOS open LidTap on your phone. Details are in the privacy policy.
The link on the tag is only useful together with the copy of LidTap on your iPhone. Someone who reads the sticker can see a URL; they cannot see your history. Treat a bottle tag as a label, not a secret.
